The contest runs from April 4 to April 15, 2016. You may not count any money or food collected after
April 10th. Each dollar contributed will count as four pounds of food.
100 Points will be given if you register early by February 29, 2016. You can still register up until March
30th at www.legalfoodfrenzy.com or www.hrfoodbank.org
100 Points will be given if you register to volunteer as a group by April 15, 2016. The volunteer
opportunity can be arranged with Donna Tighe, 757.596.7188 or [email protected]. The
volunteer opportunity must be completed by June 1, 2016.
Checks should be made payable to: Virginia Peninsula Foodbank.
Contributions of money are tax-deductible and are very welcome. Please note, if you are contributing
cash, please include a receipt with the contributors name, address and amount of donation.
You may donate online by going to our website at http://fbvp.convio.net/lff or visit our website at
www.hrfoodbank.org and click on the Legal Food Frenzy sliding banner at the top of the home page.
When entering your on-line gift, you must include the law firm name and reference Legal Food Frenzy
in the “designation” field to ensure the donation is credited to your law firm.
Food items will be weighed and the results tabulated in pounds.
Candy will not be counted.
When counting the number of employees, count each person working at the firm, regardless of
position.
Please do not contribute food items in glass containers – they have a high risk of breakage.
Please do not open items that are already packed in cases, cartons, or boxes. This will make it easier
for the Food Bank to pick up.
If your firm only has a monetary contribution, this needs to be communicated at the time your pick-up
date is assigned so the Food Bank is aware of what form of vehicle to send to your firm.
All food and fund donations must be turned into Virginia Peninsula Foodbank no later than April 29,
2016 in order to be counted towards the competition.
If a firm delivers all food and monetary contributions to the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, 2401
Aluminum Avenue, Hampton your firm will receive a 25% bonus of tabulated pounds!
Capital Campaign gifts will not be counted towards two week competition.
Law firms with multiple office locations will compete as a single entity for Attorney General Awards.
THANK YOU AND GOOD LUCK!
