國立中央大學補助博士班研究生出席國際會議報告 2011 年 07 報告人姓名 阮玉俊 系所及年級 月 14 日 Systems Biology and Bioinformatic 會議期間及地點 11/05-15/05 各院核定補助 年 月 日 日期 會議名稱 (中文) (英文) The 3rd Korea-Japan Symposium on Microbial Ecology 發表論文題目 (中文) (英文) Identification and genetic characterization of 4-tert-octylcatechol-degrading bacteria from contaminated environmental microbial communities 報告內容包括下列各項:(e-mail 至本校國際事務處 [email protected],俾利上 網刊載) 一、參加會議經過 I participated in the 3rd Korea-Japan Symposium on Microbial Ecology held (May 12-13, 2011) at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Gwangju, Republic of Korea. The schedule as following: 11/05. Taoyuan international airport, Taiwan Inchion international airport,Korea Seoul,Korea Gwangju, Korea. 12/05. Conference, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Gwangju, Republic of Korea 13/05. Conference, Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Gwangju, Republic of Korea 14/05. Gwangju Seoul, Korea 15/05. Seoul, Korea Inchion international airport, Korea Taoyuan international airport, Taiwan 二、與會心得The symposium provided me with an important opportunity for the sharing of experience and the acquisition of new information. Here's what I learned: Dr. Francisco Rodríguez-Valera, Universidad Miguel Hernandez, Spain talked about Metagenomics and the NGS Technology. This information will create a better understanding of both molecular evolution and Biotechnology. Dr. Francisco Rodríguez-Valera expressed his hope that this work will help identify Metagenomics and the NGS Technology and allow scientists to design rational strategies. Dr. Che Ok Jeon, Chung-Ang Univ, Korea shared his work about Metagenomic and Metatranscriptomic Analysis of Kimchi, the Korean Traditional Fermented Food. This is very interesting talk, he introduced many kind of Kimchi in Korea to audient and how to use microorganism to make it. Dr. Michael S. DuBow, Université Paris-Sud, France & Yonsei/Paris-Sud Project are working on Genomic Approaches to examine and Exploit the Bacterial Diversity of Asian Desert Samples and Their Potential for Long-Distance Transport by Asian Sandstorms. His work might help to understand more about environmental condition in Asian Dr. Ramesh Chander Kuhad, Univ. of Delhi, India talked about Production of Ethanol, the Second Generation Biofuel, from Prosopis juliflora, a Panatropical Weed. And many speakers that followed shared structural and systems insights into some other fields of biology. 三、建 議- Hope University can give us more chance to go to international conference. We can learn a lot of knowledge from other scientists. 四、攜回資料名稱及內容- bring back the name and content information – - A final_program book from the 3rd Korea-Japan Symposium on Microbial Ecology - A small traditional Korean gift from the 3rd Korea-Japan Symposium on Microbial Ecology
