The ABC’s of Astronomy Your child has drawn the letter _____________! Please help them select a term on the attached sheet to research. Please guide your child as they research the field of astronomy to learn about this specific vocabulary term. Assignment: Your child is responsible for presenting their term to the class. Their project will be self-selected. Students may choose how they would like to “showcase” their topic. Please see attached form for ideas (these are just suggestions, the options are limitless). Your child will be responsible to give a short oral presentation explaining his or her term to the class. This presentation should not take longer than 3-5 minutes. Your child should be able to briefly explain their term to the class and present their project. The computer will be available if your child chooses to complete a PowerPoint or other technology based project. (Please send project in prior to presentation day to ensure the technology works on the school computer). All projects are due Thursday, December 4th! All students need to be prepared to present this day! (Please cut & return to school with your child) I have read and understand my child’s assignment.
