Corresponding angles… Are in the same position and they have the same size – Angles 1 and 5, or 3 and 7 are corresponding angles. Vertically Opposite Angles… Have two lines that intersect to make four angles, they are the same size, and are opposite each other. Alternate Interior & Exterior Angles… The interior angles is inside the parallel lines and the exterior angles is outside of the parallel lines. Alternate means on opposite sides of the transversal. Angle 3, & 6 are alternate interior angles. Angle 1 & 8 are alternate exterior angles. Complementary Angles Two angles must add up to exactly 90°, and they need to be connected by a ray. 27°+63°=90° 40°+50°=90° Supplementary Angles… Two angles in which the sum of them equals 180° .
