Symptoms Symptoms are not always obvious especially in females. If warts get too large they will to be removed surgically. Vaginitis It is a bacteria. Symptoms Inflammation of female genitals can be carried by males. Females: severe itching and discharge Males: few or no symptoms It is treated with antibiotics. HPV (human papillomavirus) It is a virus that affects females. Symptoms There usually are no symptoms. If symptoms appear they may be soft, moist, pink, or flesh-colored swellings in the genital area. Some may be precancerous changes in the cervix. There is no cure; however there is a vaccine available to woman.
