The Venomous Vorpent
Gronckle diet
Venomous Vorpents eat for about 16 hours a day and they
consume 150kg of meat, mostly from other dragons. In order to
find enough food they often have to travel long distances.
Gronckles are large, thick-skinned nocturnal dragons. They eat
large slow moving mammals and sleeping birds.

Shortwing Squirrelserpents and insects
Mood Dragon diet
Shortwing Squirrelserpents are nocturnal and eat insects in vast
quantities, mice, voles and bats. They are only scary because they
have a habit of accidently setting fire to forests while hunting.
Mood Dragons primarily eat fruit, but will also consume shoots,
leaves, flowers, seeds, bark. They also use their colour changing
ability to sneak up on invertebrates, and small vertebrates.
 In 5 hours one night a Squirrelserpent ate a total of 110
insects.
 Each hour she ate 5 more insects than the previous hour.

Sabre Tooth Driver Dragons
Sniffer Dragons
Sabre Tooth Driver Dragons are enormous lion-like dragons that
do not hibernate, and are therefore very useful to the Vikings for
pulling their sleighs.
Sniffer Dragons are small nocturnal reptiles. They eat fruits, eggs,
seeds, insects and small birds. They hunt in pairs at sunrise and
sunset.
 In 5 days a pack of Sabre Tooth Driver Dragons pulled a
group of Hairy Hooligans a total of 135km.
 Each day they pulled the Vikings 4km more than the day
before.

The Skullion
Polar Serpents
The Skullion is one of the most vicious predator dragons. They
mainly eat Sniffer and Mood dragons, but will also eat Gronckles,
Vorpents and Raptortongues.
Polar serpents live in the North, basking like seals on flat icebergs.
Their beauty hides a cruel streak, a pack will even attack a polar
bear. While hunting, they ‘windsurf’ across the ice on their
tummies and can travel long distances.
 In a 5 hour hunt a gang of Skullions ate 300 smaller
dragons.
 Each hour they ate 5 fewer dragons than the previous hour.
