IN2 TAREA 2
NAME:
Paco is relaxing in the hotel in Johannesburg, South Africa. He doesn't like flying and he gets really
excited whenever he has to fly. The flight from Great Britain to the United States was really short in
comparison with the flight from the States to South Africa. So, he feels very tired. After having a cup of
soft drinks in the bar of the hotel and enjoying some music, he has gone to bed and has dreamt. Can you
imagine what he has dreamt of? That's it! He has dreamt of planes and parachuting! Now he is happy. He
has woken up. He feels relieved because his feet are on the ground. At this very moment, he is netsurfing
and he is reading a new introduction of himself he wrote some weeks ago, just before his travel around
the world started.
Read what Paco has written about himself on the web.
Hello, everybody, my name is Paco González. Let me introduce myself a little so that you
may know me and my family a bit better. I am twenty one years old. I live in Córdoba with
my parents and my sister Sonia. I am studying World History at University. Now, I can
speak English better than before thanks to my sister. She is helping me improve my English
because I am travelling around the world in a few weeks. I don't like flying, well, in fact, I
hate flying. I get really anxious and excited whenever I have to fly. First, I am going to the
United Kingdom, then to the United States and then to South Africa. I am looking forward to
it!
Sonia is very kind, attentive and patient. She is completely different from my elder brother,
Alex. Alex is an engineer. He lives with Susan, his girlfriend, in Madrid. He is a very
hardworking person, but very impatient and a bit arrogant and egocentric. He is always
speaking about himself. My parents, on the contrary, are very humble and gentle and my
father, specifically, is far more courageous than me. He is not afraid of anything.
About my everyday activities I must say that I get up very early in the morning to go to
university. After the lessons, I have lunch with my parents and Sonia. In the afternoon, I
usually play tennis or football and go out with my friends. I'm keen on sports. However,
what I like best is fishing. I usually go fishing with my father and practise 'catch and release
fishing'. I also like the cinema. My friends and I often go to the cinema on Saturday
evenings. Next Saturday, we are meeting at the usual place. After that, we usually go to a
burger bar and have a sandwich and a coke. We don't drink any alcohol. We don't like
alcohol. Now, could you tell me things about yourself?
Paco.
