WORLD HISTORY BINGO!
INSTRUCTIONS
DIRECTIONS: Each of the concepts on the World History Bingo Board are a State Standard for
World History. To see how the same trends, patterns, and concepts you study in global history are
repeated in our world today, find ONE news article or editorial from an appropriate news source that
highlights each concept. Each article or editorial must be originally published during the current
“Totally 10” marking period.
You must write the headline or title of the article etc. in the corresponding space on the BINGO
CARD. Your goal is to earn a “BINGO” which means you have found examples for each standard
going either horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. You must write THREE paragraphs for EACH
square in your BINGO. The first paragraph should be a few sentences that explains in your own words
what the historical theme means. For the second paragraph that contributed to your BINGO, you must
write a summary that answers the following questions: Who? What? Where? When? Then you need to
write a third paragraph for each article that explains how the event or issue described in the article is
an example of the historical theme in the Bingo box. *See WORLD HISTORY BINGO RUBRIC*
