BLESSINGS TO YOU IN THE NAME OF THE LORD!
The Apostle Paul wrote that we are to be content in all circumstances. But how could anyone be content
when a huge, catastrophic, hurricane destroys your home? The United States essentially lost a city
OVERNIGHT with Hurricane Katrina! 600,000 homes were totally lost! Think about this. This is one
of the biggest catastrophes in our nation’s history. When you consider what a tremendous undertaking it
would be to build a subdivision of a thousand homes, then think of the magnitude of 600,000 homes that
were utterly destroyed!
Then, after the hurricane, the city of New Orleans became Hell on earth and descended into chaos and anarchy.
Looters roamed the streets with automatic weapons shooting at what few police remained, shooting at rescue
workers, and at national guardsmen bringing supplies! What kind of person shoots at someone trying to
rescue them? Once the thin veneer of civilization peels away, it becomes obvious that “The heart is deceitful
above all things and desperately wicked.” (Jeremiah 17:9)
What can be done to prevent the break down of law and order in times of crisis?
We need to teach people when they’re children to have respect for authority, to respect other people and their
property, and train them when they’re children to develop a conscience. But how can we do that? How can we
TRANSFORM AMERICA? LISTEN: by transforming American education. One of the most hopeless,
drug and gang infested high schools was transformed into one of the nation’s best. The famous
principal, Joe Clark, (the movie Lean on Me was made about him), revolutionized Eastside High from
a lawless, chaotic war zone into one of the nation finest. Joe made the worst into the best. Joe says we
need to instill virtues and values in our young people. Issues program Lean on Me with Joe Clark (#914)
How do you respond when tragedy strikes you? Do you give up? Get discouraged? What if it was
your home Hurricane Katrina destroyed? James, the half brother of Jesus, wrote, “Consider it PURE
JOY, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds….” How is it possible to have joy after
suffering a tremendous loss? What is this supernatural JOY that transcends human logic and, more
importantly, how can you get it? Author and motivational speaker, Tim Hansel, suffered a tragic
fall that broke his back, causing him to be in extreme pain for the past 30 years, yet he says no matter
what the circumstances, we can CHOOSE to experience JOY! In fact, joy counteracts depression and is
the antidote to pain. Joy is the solution to worry and anxiety.
The Lord speaks through Isaiah to YOU as He says, “When you pass through the waters I will be
with YOU. Note it’s not “if” but when. “Do not be afraid for I am with you,” says the Lord. GET
EXCITED about each day as a gift from GOD! Jesus said, “These things have I spoken to you that
MY JOY might remain in you, and that your joy may be full.” Jn 15:11 (God’s Gift of Joy #916)
THE IMPORTANCE OF REMEMBERING:
When we were attacked on 9-11, there arose a refrain:”We will never forget.” But have we forgotten? It
was a sunny, picture-perfect morning when two hijacked jetliners smashed into the two towers and
forever destroyed the notion that it could never happen here.

People on the ground said dozen of bodies seemed to just fall out of the sky as horrified people
jumped to their deaths rather than endure the intense inferno on the top floors of the World Trade
Centers. Many chose one last gasp of fresh air, before plummeting to their death, rather than being
cremated in the suffocating air. One woman jumped out of the intense heat and landed on a fireman and
killed him. There were the frantic cell phone messages left for family members – words of surpassing
tenderness and fright. Let us never forget…
How could any human being inflict such horror on people they don’t even know?
People who had done nothing to them?
It has been 4 years and many people today don’t know why it happened or who really was behind it.
Most have sunk into complacency. Others, incredibly, resent and blame President Bush!
“But,” Gary Bauer writes, “America was not attacked just by the 19 men who carried out the carnage.
They were merely the ‘foot solders’ of a murderous philosophy that is incubating within Islam. We know
from its indiscriminate murderous acts that it’s willing to kill fellow-Muslims if it suits their purposes. Right
now Islamofacists are working to bring us sorrows greater than anything we have yet experienced. Why?
To force the world to be under Islamic law. We are to live under Sharia law or not live at all.”
From Jerusalem to New York to Madrid and London this is not the end. Rather it is what Winston Churchill
referred to as “the first taste” of a bitter cup that we will all be asked to drink from again and again until we
find the resolve to win this war. Churchill said it this way to the House of Commons:
“You ask, ‘What is our aim?’ I can answer with one word: Victory –victory at all costs, victory in spite of
all terror, victory, however long and hard the road may be: for without victory, there is no survival.”
First the terrorists went after the Israelis with forty years of bombing innocent civilians including
children. Then the Islamists declared war on the United States. It took a quarter-century of murdering
Americans in Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, East Africa, and the first effort to topple the World Trade Center, and
the attack on the USS Cole, before we began to “get it.”
Then came Madrid. Even after Spain tried appeasement by withdrawing troops from Iraq, Muslim radicals
made further attempts to blow up trains.
Then came Holland where anything goes and Muslim radicals could hate in peace. But then came the
butchering of Theo Van Gogh. His throat was cut all the way through to his spine and he was stabbed

into his heart. What could possibly make one person hate another so much that he would butcher
him so? The man who did it said, “I acted purely in the name of my religion. I can assure you that one
day, should I be set free, I would do the same, exactly the same.” The murderer turned (in court) to the
victims mother and told her he felt nothing for her: “I don’t feel your pain. I have to admit that I don’t have
any sympathy for you because you’re a non-believer.”
This had nothing to do with Israeli “occupation” of Palestinian lands or America’s “invasion” of Iraq or
supposed torture of Muslim prisoners or any of the other reasons Muslim apologists complain about.
Islamic terrorism arises from religious fanaticism plain and simple.
Then came London. London was so hospitable to Muslims that it was called “Londonistan”.
But radical imams openly preached jihad as thanks for being given generous welfare subsidies.
Within a day of the horrific bombings in London, the G8 (international summit) announced a multi-billion
dollar grant to the Palestinian Authority. Clearly this sent the message that TERRORISM WORKS! There
are no grants being given to Tibetans, who have been occupied more brutally and for a longer time than
Palestinians. The Tibetans have never used terrorism, but the Palestinians are the godfathers of
international terrorism. Terrorism will continue as long as there’s a benefit from it. That’s the reason the
majority of Palestinians think Israel uprooted all the Jews living in the Gaza strip and northern Samaria and
gave it to the Palestinians. It worked! So violence means victory! Already more “homicide” bombers are
blowing up innocent Jews because they see terrorism as winning more land.
It is extremely sad to realize that so many of our young soldiers in Iraq are being killed almost daily by
suicide bombers all in the name of Allah.
But notice that the billion Chinese are left alone by the Islamofascists- even though the Chinese are far
more ruthless to their own Muslims than USA or Europe. WHY? Listen, if bin Lauden issued a fatwa
against Beijing and slammed an airliner into a skyscraper in Shanghai, there is no telling what a nuclear
China might have done. In other words, the Islamicists target those whom they think they can intimidate
and blackmail.

A Terrorist Transformed 901
Are Muslim terrorists bringing their Jihad to America? What really goes on in the mind of a Muslim
terrorist? Walid was a Palestinian-Muslim terrorist! His wife challenged him to read the Bible, to
find it's supposed "errors." He did and became a born-again Christian. As a college student, he
raised money from unsuspecting students to fund terrorism. He now says,”Christianity brings peace
to a culture but Islam brings jihad.” Austin Miles tells about a public school course that indoctrinates

Behind the Veil of Islam 911
What is it about Islam that creates Muslim terrorists? How can we win the war on terrorism without
understanding the motivation of the bombers? Dr. Joseph Abdul Shafi, an Egyptian medical doctor
practicing in America, is an expert on Islam and author of Behind the Veil – Unmasking Mohammed’s
Life. Dr. “Joseph” says the way to win the war on terrorism is to change the thinking of Muslims. Most
Muslims don’t really understand who Mohammed was. They don’t understand the Koran, since it’s

The Three C’s: 1. COWS
How is it our government can track a cow born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where
she sleeps. Yet our government is unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around in our
country? Maybe we should give them each a cow.
2. Constitution: The Iraqis are drafting their own Constitution. Why don’t we just give them ours? It’s
worked for over 200 years and (with the Supreme Court making up their decisions) we’re not even using
it anymore.
2. Commandments: Want to know the real reason that we can’t have the Ten Commandments in a
Courthouse? You can’t post “Thou Shalt Not Steal,””Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery,” and “Thou Shall Not
Lie” in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians! It creates a hostile working environment.
In the Kelo v New London case the Supreme Court ruled that private property could be seized and sold to
developers if local officials want to generate more money from the property. So much for private property.
And on top of that, the people who have lost their homes are being charged back rent for the years they
remained in their homes while the legal case was decided. Incredible.

But consider this. What if the property was home to an endangered species, rather than just an
ordinary American citizen? Would the developers be stopped from taking the property?
What if the home was home to an endangered fly? Endangered flies have blocked freeway construction.
Spawning salmon have brought down dams, and suckerfish in Oregon have threatened the livelihoods of
hundreds of farmers.
In Riverside Ca., the Endangered Species Act (ESA) prevented private landowners from clearing firebreaks
on their land, lest they disturb the habitat of the Stephen’s kangaroo rat. In the ensuring fires, many of the
landowners’ homes burned – as did much of the habitat the ESA was supposed to protect.
Freedom From Globalism #900
America fought a war for our independence, but are we going back to be ruled by foreign nations as
Supreme Court Justices increasingly rely on international laws instead of our Constitution? Tom
Deweese says there’s a UN curriculum in our schools now, to prepare America for being part of a
one world government. Professor Alan Quist, author of Fed Ed, says most people are unaware of the
new mandated federal curriculum that will undermine our national sovereignty. Historian Peter
Marshall, author of the Light and The Glory, tells how God miraculously saved General Washington.
“Five US Supreme Court Justices have ruled that the US Constitution is meaningless. Their ruling in the Kelo
case declared that Americans own nothing. After declaring all private property is subject to the whim of a
government official, it’s a short tip to declare that government can now confiscate anything we own. Without
the right to own private property, there are no other rights. 229 years of American ideals of liberty have
come to an end. It is no longer a warning of what might happen. It is reality. Tyranny is our destiny. ”

A majority of Senate Democrats on the Judiciary Committee voted against the nomination of Judge John
Roberts to be chief justice of the Supreme Court. For the liberals, it's all about abortion, which is truly
amazing for a party that built its reputation on "defending the little guy." Senator Dianne Feinstein voted "nay"
because John Roberts refused to pledge to uphold Roe. That is a completely different standard which demands
all future nominees pass a pro-abortion litmus test in order to get her vote. So if you’re a Biblical Christian
you are disqualified because you won’t support abortion. This blatant discrimination is unconstitutional.

Teachers Speak Out #915
In a democracy, an educated populace is not an option – it’s an imperative. We spend half a trillion
dollars on education. Are we getting our money’s worth? Three public school teachers speak out on
what’s happening in their schools. Mark Isler, a talented middle school teacher, was discriminated

The Urgency of Barna’s Research 905

65% of the Builder Generation (born from 1910 to 1946) was Christian
35% of the Boomers (born from 1946 to 1964) were Christian
15% of the Busters (born from 1965 to1975) were Christian, yet only
4% (projected) of the Bridgers, aka Millennials (born after 1977)

America back to God. Should sex ed even be taught at school? Because one person was offended by
prayer at school, all 30 million school children were forbidden from praying. But when many are

How to Bring Children to Christ #917
What a person believes determines where they will spend eternity. What does it mean to believe in
Jesus Christ? Almost 9 out of 10 (88%) of church children lose their faith before high school
graduation. What can a parent do to be sure their children keep their faith? Ray Comfort is a TV
evangelist (The Way of the Master) and author of over 40 books including How To Bring Your Child TO
Christ and Keep Them There. Ray says, don’t give your children a false image of God as being “the
