The Diet
Breakfast:
I prefer Crystal Light™. However Dr.
Simeons suggests tea or coffee in
any quantity without sugar. Only one
tablespoonful of milk allowed in 24
hours. Saccharin or Stevia may be
used.
Lunch:
1. 100 grams (3 ½ Ounces) of veal,
beef, chicken breast, fresh white fish,
lobster, crab, or shrimp. All visible fat
must be carefully removed before
cooking, and the meat must be
weighed raw. It must be boiled or
grilled without additional fat. Salmon,
eel, tuna, herring, dried or pickled
fish are not allowed.
2.
One type (3 ½ Ounces) of
vegetable only to be chosen from the
following: spinach, chard, chicory,
beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes,
celery, fennel, onions, red radishes,
cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.
3. One breadstick (grissino) or one
Melba toast.
4. An apple, orange, or a handful of
strawberries or one-half grapefruit.
Dinner :
The same four choices as lunch
(above.)
Additional Diet Information
The juice of one lemon daily is allowed for all purposes. Salt, pepper,
vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, majoram, etc.,
may be used for seasoning, but no oil, butter or dressing.
Tea, coffee, plain water, Crystal Light ™ or mineral water are the only drinks
allowed, but they may be taken in any quantity and at all times. In fact, you
should drink about 2 liters of these fluids per day. Many patients are afraid
to drink so much because they fear that this may make them retain more
water. This is a wrong notion as the body is more inclined to store water
when the intake falls below its normal requirements.
The fruit or the breadstick may be eaten between meals instead of with
lunch or dinner, but not more than four items listed for lunch and dinner may
be eaten at one meal.
No medicines or cosmetics other than lipstick, eyebrow pencil and powder
may be used without special permission.
There is no objection to breaking up the two meals. For instance, having a
breadstick and an apple for breakfast or an orange before going to bed
provided they are deducted from the regular meals. The whole daily ration of
two breadsticks or two fruits may not be eaten at the same time, nor can any
item saved from the previous day be added on the following day.
It is recommended to get a food scale and weigh all meats and vegetables
raw before cooking. Remove all fat before weighing and cooking. Spicy
foods can help to be more satisfying and help increase water intake.

More Tips

HCG must be refrigerated. You may draw all syringes up at once and
keep them in the fridge or do so daily.

HCG will keep its potency for about 60 days.

Track your daily food and water intake with www.fitday.com (free) or a
notebook.

Weigh yourself daily.

Never stray from the HCG food menu. For example, when it says chicken
breast, do not assume that a turkey breast is OK.

Men will generally lose weight faster than women.

HCG Injection Instructions
The best time to give yourself HCG injections is every morning around the same
time each day. Injection is to be given mid-thigh just to the outside edge.
Step 1
Fill the syringe to the 0.25 cc line with HCG (initially fill to 0.5 cc line then push
out extra HCG and any air bubbles down to 0.25 cc line).
Step 2
Cleanse site with alcohol wipe and allow skin to dry, then uncap needle.
Step 3
Inject the HCG by holding the syring in the middle like a dart and push it quickly
into the skin at a 90 degree angle. Insert the needle completely, then depress
the plunger and inject the HCG in a quick fashion.
Step 4
Remove the needle from the skin straight and quickly and place a band-aid if
desired.
Step 5
Dispose of your needle in a sharps container, never directly into the trash.
Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is HCG? It is a natural hormone produced in the body of pregnant
females. It is collected from pregnant female urine and prepared for
injection.
2. How does HCG work? HCG helps the body to “mobilize” fat and use it as
energy for a pregnant mom and the fetus. This is important because
many women are quite sick for the first trimester of pregnancy and are
unable to eat or if they do are so nauseated that they can not keep
anything down. HCG helps the mom and fetus to have adequate energy
and to not “starve” when mom is unable to eat a necessary amount of
calories. It more or less unlocks abnormal fat for this energy. HCG for
weight loss does not mimic a pregnancy state, but helps burn-off
unwanted fat stores.
3. Is HCG safe? Yes, all women have HCG in their body when pregnant.
Research for over 50 years have shown no side effects with the small
amount used in weight loss for either men or women.
4. If I simply starve myself, won’t I loose the same amount of weight? Yes,
however, you will loose different weight and will feel much hungrier.
Simply not eating will break down normal fat cells and protein/muscle
mass. However, HCG helps the body used abnormal stored fat for energy
instead of decreasing bone density and muscle mass.
5. Can I take HCG while on other medications? Yes, HCG generally does
not react with other medications, however, first talk with the healthcare
provider about what you are currently taking.
6. What is the Vitamin B12 for? Vitamin B12 is an important vitamin you
usually get from food. It helps make red blood cells and keeps your
nervous system working right. It also helps your energy levels.
7. How much weight can I expect to loose on the HCG diet? On the average
most clients loose about 20 pounds per month. When the diet is started
weight loss is quicker at about 10 pounds the first week.

Consent for Human Chorionic Gonadatropin (hCG) Weight-Loss Program
I request and consent to injections of hCG and strict dietary restrictions for the purpose of losing weight. I
understand this will be monitored by the medical providers at Pace Clinic and or Nucea Health and Fitness. I
understand that as part of the program I will be given a limited physical and orientation to the program, will be
instructed on how to administer the injections myself or make arrangements to have someone do so. I
understand that initial blood tests may be performed to rule out any conditions that would disqualify me from
the program or require any prior treatment before starting the program. I agree to immediately report any
problems that might occur to the medical provider during the treatment program. I further understand that
there could be risks involved as there are with all medications and that not complying with the dosage
recommendations and dietary restrictions could increase risks and alter the results. Product information is
available upon request. The usage guidelines noted in the product information are consistent with 125 IU HCG
daily and 1 CC Vitamin B12 Weekly. There are currently no studies available at this dosage outlining possible
risks.
I understand that hCG is not FDA approved for weight loss. I also understand that there is medical evidence to
support use of hCG for this purpose. The medical providers at Pace Clinic and/or Nucea provide instruction on
how to administer the HCG injections and that I understand correct procedure and can safely administer the
injections. I agree that I am, and will be under the care of my primary care physician or another medical
provider for all other conditions. Pace Clinic and/or Nucea works in conjunction with, but cannot replace,
regular primary care physicians, such as general practitioners or other specialists in Family Medicine or Internal
Medicine.
HCG has not been demonstrated to be an effective adjunctive therapy in the treatment of obesity. There is no
substantial evidence that it increases weight loss beyond that resulting from caloric restriction, that it causes a
more attractive or "normal" distribution of fat, or that it decreases the hunger and discomfort associated with
calorie-restricted diets. I understand the medical providers at Pace Clinic and/or Nucea only prescribe hCG and
medication necessary for this treatment with hCG only as part of the weight loss program.
Because we are committed to enabling our patients to obtain and maintain health and wellness naturally, and
the services provided by our office are based upon a natural and preventative approach, it is rare that this
program is covered by insurance companies. Weight loss, in general, is rarely covered by insurance companies.
For this reason, we do not accept or bill insurance for this program. Once labs are done, the physical is
performed, and the treatment is started, we cannot honor any refund requests based on scheduling conflicts,
missed doses, unsatisfactory results, etc. If blood work is indicated, the test will be conducted by a licensed lab
and the fee added to your initial visit fee.
I have read Dr. Simeons Protocol (Pounds and Inches) and understand all of the above and have been informed
of potential side effects and risks that may be associated with the hCG protocol , and release Pace Cinic and/or
Nucea of any liability. I understand that if I experience any unusual, unexplainable, or unexpected symptoms, I
will discontinue the program immediately and contact Pace Clinic and/or Nucea and my personal physician. I
fully understand what I am signing and hereby request and consent to weight-loss treatment using injections of
hCG.
If female, I verify that I am NOT pregnant, NOT trying to get pregnant, and NOT nursing a baby.
