Current Measurements using Shunt
Current Measurements using Shunt

... “Shunt” is the resistor used for the measurements of circuit currents in electric circuits. Actually, shunt was previously taken as the resistor connecting up to the ammeters in parallel to expand the measuring range of electric indicating instruments (indicating meters). *See Diagram1 However, rece ...

... Millimetre-wave mixers are commonly realised using hybrid fabrication techniques, with diodes as the nonlinear mixing elements. The main reasons for this are that the modelling issues for the passive hybrids/baluns and the relatively simple diode structures are well characterised and understood. The ...

Optimize Transistor Size for FIR Pre

... In high speed circuits design, the CMOS transistors are biased at maximum fT, which gives us the current density around 0.28mA/μm [8]. Fig. 5 shows the simulation of the fT for a 10μmx0.1μm NMOS transistor in 90nm technology. Fig. 6 shows one tap of the traditional pre-emphasis driver. As mentioned ...

Flexible electronics

Flexible electronics, also known as flex circuits, is a technology for assembling electronic circuits by mounting electronic devices on flexible plastic substrates, such as polyimide, PEEK or transparent conductive polyester film. Additionally, flex circuits can be screen printed silver circuits on polyester. Flexible electronic assemblies may be manufactured using identical components used for rigid printed circuit boards, allowing the board to conform to a desired shape, or to flex during its use.
