Programmable Electronic Voltage Burden
Programmable Electronic Voltage Burden

... The power range can be extended to 400 VA with an additional passive voltage burden. Burden values can be retrieved from stored tables based on IEC 60044-2, ANSI C57.13 and VDE 0414 Part 2. Nine individual burden settings (SN, cos β) can be stored and retrieved as needed. High accuracy of 1% - even ...

... Note that you should simplify the paths of the wires from one object to the next. If the wire bends in a loop, you don’t have to duplicate this bend on your diagram, unless it helps to simplify the diagram. Your VIR lab has a sample. Hint: The word “series” implies things lined up one after the othe ...
Inverters
Inverters

... There are 2 types of electrical inverters, the first takes low voltage high current power from a PV panel or battery and sends it through a ‘chopping’ circuit which changes it to low voltage high current AC power at 60Hz. The power then goes through a series of large transformers which output 120V A ...

Any difference (error) is amplified and inverted, and fed back into the axon as a current to bring the potential to the desired level (like cruise control on a car). Current flowing from the circuit thus give ...

Sizing a rectifier-based power supply

... This is clearly not suitable as a DC power source since the load is looking for a constant DC value. This is where the capacitor, C, and the LM78XX voltage regulator of Figure 1 become important. A typical voltage regulator requires that the voltage on the input pin maintain a certain margin above t ...

TEP(Thermoelectroic Power)

... Introduction The thermoelectricity was discovered in 1821 by Thomas Seebeck where a continuously flowing current was created when two wires of different materials were joined together and heated at one end. This is known as the Seebeck effect (Fig.1). The Seebeck effect has two main applications i.e ...

Metadyne

A metadyne is a direct current electrical machine with two pairs of brushes. It can be used as an amplifier or rotary transformer. It is similar to a third brush dynamo but has additional regulator or ""variator"" windings. It is also similar to an amplidyne except that the latter has a compensating winding which fully counteracts the effect of the flux produced by the load current. The technical description is ""a cross-field direct current machine designed to utilize armature reaction"". A metadyne can convert a constant-voltage input into a constant-current, variable-voltage output.
