... members of the Natural Numbers are real numbers. That’s why the Natural Numbers are a subset of the Reals. The Natural Numbers = { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,….} without ever ending. The Whole Numbers are sometimes just written as the symbol W. Whole Numbers and Natural Numbers are very similar. W= { 0, 1, ...

... It is important to know how big the uncertainty is compared to the actual measurement. 0.5 cm error would be a lot if your measurement was only 2.1 cm! That would amount to an error of 24% instead of only 4% (0.5 / 2.1) x 100% = 24% To emphasize this point, consider this; 1 cm error when you are mea ...

Mathematics of radio engineering

The mathematics of radio engineering is the mathematical description by complex analysis of the electromagnetic theory applied to radio. Waves have been studied since ancient times and many different techniques have developed of which the most useful idea is the superposition principle which apply to radio waves. The Huygen's principle, which says that each wavefront creates an infinite number of new wavefronts that can be added, is the base for this analysis.
