DN221 - SOT-23 Micropower, Rail to Rail Op Amps Operate with Inputs Above the Positive Supply

... Common factors that keep most SOT-23 parts from being general purpose amplifiers include low supply voltage range, high input offset voltage, low open-loop voltage gain and poor output stage performance. The LT1782/LT1783 amplifiers operate on all single and split supplies with a total voltage of 2. ...

... It is unity-gain stable and provides excellent DC and AC performance. With 100 MHz unity-gain bandwidth, 3000V/µs slew rate and 50 mA of output current per channel, the LM6172 offers high performance in dual amplifiers; yet it only consumes 2.3 mA of supply current each channel. The LM6172 operates ...

... 6) We talk about a folded cascode being a “single-stage” amplifier and having a single dominant pole. In a PMOS-input folded cascode, there is a pole associated with the source of the NMOS cascode transistor M2. Your job is to explain why this pole is above the unity gain frequency. Naïvely, one mi ...

Valve RF amplifier

A valve RF amplifier (UK and Aus.) or tube amplifier (U.S.), is a device for electrically amplifying the power of an electrical radio frequency signal.Low to medium power valve amplifiers for frequencies below the microwaves were largely replaced by solid state amplifiers during the 1960s and 1970s, initially for receivers and low power stages of transmitters, transmitter output stages switching to transistors somewhat later. Specially constructed valves are still in use for very high power transmitters, although rarely in new designs.
