... CAP and Inductor Selection The recommended value of inductor for 2 to 6 WLEDs applications are 10µH to 47µH. Small size and better efficiency are the major concerns for portable device. A 22µH inductor with low DCR (Inductor resistance) is recommended to improve efficiency. To avoid inductor saturat ...

... All amplifiers operate up to a certain high frequency limit. Beyond this, the amplifier gain drops uniformly at –20 dB/decade (or even faster). Also, most amplifiers have a low-frequency limit imposed by internal, or external, components. Between the low and high frequency points, most amplifiers ha ...

... In the first part of this lab, the objective was to study the response of the voltage across a capacitor in an RLC circuit as a function of input. It was shown that the response consisted of a transient and steady state part. The type of transient response was dependent on the resistor used. It was ...

... The Wheatstone Bridge is a commonly used circuit for making electrical measurements. When will the current through the ammeter be equal to zero? This will happen if we choose the resistor to be just right! If we assume no current flow through the ammeter then: ...

Valve RF amplifier

A valve RF amplifier (UK and Aus.) or tube amplifier (U.S.), is a device for electrically amplifying the power of an electrical radio frequency signal.Low to medium power valve amplifiers for frequencies below the microwaves were largely replaced by solid state amplifiers during the 1960s and 1970s, initially for receivers and low power stages of transmitters, transmitter output stages switching to transistors somewhat later. Specially constructed valves are still in use for very high power transmitters, although rarely in new designs.
