Characterization of CMOS Fully Differential Amplifiers for

... implementation of circuits that use differential signaling. Fully differential op amps are widely used in modern integrated circuits because they have some advantages over their single-ended counterparts. They provide a larger output voltage swing and are less susceptible to common-mode noise. Also, ...

The uA741 Operational Amplifier
The uA741 Operational Amplifier

... uA741 operational amplifier’s frequency response is not effected by changes in beta. Once again, this is due to the op-amp’s relative beta independence. This beta independence is quite beneficial because in the mass production of transistors, their beta values can vary by a large amount. Having the ...

... The mixing stage is far from ideal and should be redesigned before the design goes to manufacture. Studies into the necessity of fader buffers should also be carried out, as they may prove superfluous. Tube sound

Tube sound (or valve sound) is the characteristic sound associated with a vacuum tube-based audio amplifier. After introduction of solid state amplifiers, tube sound appeared as the logical complement of transistor sound, which had some negative connotations due to crossover distortion of early transistor amplifiers. The audible significance of tube amplification on audio signals is a subject of continuing debate among audio enthusiasts. Many electric guitar, electric bass, and keyboard players in several genres also prefer the sound of tube instrument amplifiers or preamplifiers.
