... The circuit shown in Figure 1 is a typical fully differential application as might be used to drive an ADC. In this circuit closed loop gain, (AV) = VOUT/ VIN = RF/RG. For all the applications in this data sheet VINis presumed to be the voltage presented to the circuit by the signal source. For diff ...

... The standard Op-Amp symbol is shown in left-hand figure below. It has two input terminals, the inverting (-) input and the non-inverting (+) input. The typical Op-Amp operates with two dc supply voltages, one positive and the other negative, as shown in the right-hand figure below. Usually these dc ...

Harmonic Distortion of the AC Power Line Whitepaper
Harmonic Distortion of the AC Power Line Whitepaper

... The key to controlling harmonic distortion is limiting the current pulses. This is generally accomplished through the use of inductor coils, which may also be called reactors or chokes, on the input of the drive. The inductance of a coil creates a back electromotive force (emf ), or voltage, as the ...

DATA SHEET TDA8010M; TDA8010AM Low power mixers/oscillators for satellite tuners

... The TDA8010M; TDA8010AM are integrated circuits that perform the mixer/oscillator function in satellite tuners. The devices include a gain controlled IF amplifier that can directly drive two single-ended SAW filters or a differential SAW filter using a three function switchable output. They contain ...

... As you will see, Butterworth filters have maximally flat amplitude response in the passband. Unfortunately, they have two major drawbacks. Poor Roll-off: Butterworth high-frequency roll-off is shallow, which means that high-frequency signals are not greatly attenuated. To remedy this, our power ampl ...

Tube sound

Tube sound (or valve sound) is the characteristic sound associated with a vacuum tube-based audio amplifier. After introduction of solid state amplifiers, tube sound appeared as the logical complement of transistor sound, which had some negative connotations due to crossover distortion of early transistor amplifiers. The audible significance of tube amplification on audio signals is a subject of continuing debate among audio enthusiasts. Many electric guitar, electric bass, and keyboard players in several genres also prefer the sound of tube instrument amplifiers or preamplifiers.
