Environment : surroundings in which people, animals and plants exist and develop
Ecology: is a branch of biology searching relationship between living beings and their
environment
The most serious ecological problems of today are:
- pollution of air, water and soil
- destruction of ecosystems
- dissappearance of many species of animals and plants
- global warming, weather changes
- acid rains
- breaking the ozon layer
- decreasing of tropical rain forests
Most of these damages are not caused by natural disasters such as earthquake, flood , tidal
waves, tornadoes or volcanic eruptions but by the man himself.
How can we help to protect our planet:
- use public transport instead own cars
- plant trees, clean rivers, lakews
- recycle
-save energy, water
- buy environmentally friendly products
- pick up litter and don´t drop any yourself
