Famous Social Scientists
In preparation for your ISU you will create a game that introduces its players to the work
of 12 social scientists three from each of the major disciplines. You will use the library
and internet to familiarize yourself with the major contribution made by each social
scientist.
This is a group project where each member must identify their individual contributions.
The group size is limited to 3 members and in that group each member would be
responsible for researching and developing game elements pertaining to 4 social
scientists (1 sociologist, 1 psychologist, 1 anthropologist, 1 additional social scientist
from any of the 3 disciplines)
.
The Game:
 The game should capture and highlight each individual’s most important
contribution(s) to the study humanness.
 You may include information about their personal & family life but don’t go into
great detail unless there is a clear and significant relationship to the individual’s
public life and work.
 The game could be a trivia game, a secret identity clue game, a board game, etc.
 You must design the games instruction: object of the game, how to play, rules
and procedures, etc.
 You must include a works cited of the material used in your research. You
must use the St. David style guide.
