Spanish I ~ Verb Book Project
Due: Wednesday, May 4, 2016.
Value: Summative grade
Objective: Create a visually book or power point that illustrates 10 of the -ar verbs
studied.
Requirements:
a) The power point or book must be titled
Los verbos en -ar
b) Write your name in the lower right hand corner
c) 10 pictures illustrating 10 different -ar verbs that we have studied recently (Only the verbs we
studied!) Pictures may be from clipart, drawn or cut from magazines. Pictures must be large
enough to see the verb clearly depicted.
d) Each picture must be labeled with the verb in the –ar infinitive form ( You know, the –ar form,
not conjugated).
e) Each picture must be accompanied by a Spanish sentence which uses a conjugation
of the Spanish verb illustrated by the picture. The sentence should be written in English and
Spanish.
f) The project must be neat in appearance. Creativity is appreciated.
Helpful hints:
a) Start looking for your pictures NOW! Don’t wait until Tuesday night!
b) Bring your sentences to class before the due date to be proof-read by Sra. Smith or Jordan.
c) Come to class Wednesday with everything cut and glued into place because
NOTHING will be loaned out at that time to help you finish at the last minute!
d) Check the grading rubric to make sure you have included everything that will be graded.
Example:
Bailar
Ellos bailan muy bien.
