* Academic expectations
1) Attend all classes on a daily basis, recognizing that learning and attendance
are strongly related.
2) Be prepared for class with notebook, agenda, textbook and pencil every day.
3) Maintain an organized notebook for each class.
4) Accept the responsibility for your own education and act as your own
advocate.
5) Maintain personal and academic integrity.
Using and passing off another’s work as yours is plagiarism and results in an
automatic zero and parental contact. Allowing others to copy your work is
also cheating and results in a zero and parental contact. This includes
homework.
*Please note that students are required to complete a research project
planned for the third quarter. The project includes a five-page double
spaced research paper and a science fair board or powerpoint on a
relevant world history/geography topic
