By Tre’ and Joe The heart is the main organ in the circulatory system. The heart has four places that help with the other organs. The four places are the right atrium, right ventricle, left atrium, and left ventricle. When you inhale air from the lungs the red blood cells go's through the left side of the heart where the blood cells get the O2(oxygen) and while in the left side they go through the left atrium and ventricle to go to the arteries to help the other parts of the human body. Then the blood cells go’s back to the heart but the right side where they go through the right atrium and ventricle while they carry CO2(carbon dioxide) to the lungs and you exhale CO2 and the blood cells keep on doing this until you die. That is why it is called the circulatory system. The heart produces 3 million red blood cells a minute. The reason being is because red blood cells die fast. The resources that red bloods cells need are water, food, gases, and a waste disposal. People have about 25 trillion red blood cells. Also a drop of blood is 5 million blood cells. White blood cells fight disease, kill bacteria, combat allergic reactions, destroy old and/or damaged cells, kill invalid organisms. They work together to surround bacteria completely, digesting bacteria with digestive enzymes.
