1. What was I getting at with my “Who” and “How
many” questions to the whole class?
2. Are you intelligent?
3. What pets do you, your family, or your friends have?
4. Are such pets intelligent?
5. Are babies intelligent?
6. Are babies in the womb intelligent?
7. Is there intelligent life elsewhere in the universe?

What does “artificial” mean?
You may wish to consider
artificial milk, light, milk, flowers, smiles, insemination, …

What stupid things have you done?
NB: silly things I’ve done:

Not asking enough questions in lectures when I was a student!

Switching the light off instead of leaving it on.

Getting into bed when I didn’t mean to.

Making silly mistakes when nervous.

Leaving house keys indoors.

Thinking it was Thursday when it was Wednesday.

Double-booking.

Chasing a mugger.
Ways I Have Been Stupid
 Not asking enough questions in lectures when a student!
 Switching the light off instead of leaving it on.
 Getting into bed when I didn’t mean to.
 Making silly mistakes when nervous.
 Leaving house keys indoors.
 Thinking it was Thursday when it was Wednesday.
 Double-booking.
 Chasing a mugger (fewer times than Jack Straw though).
 Not noticing my theatre tickets were for a different day.
 Thinking other people were being stupid when it was I who had
misunderstood something.
