Defibrillators Kaarel Koovit Fibrillation • The irregular, unsynchronized contraction of the muscle fibers. • In the heart ventricular fibrillation is a condition which can lead to asystole. • It is usually preceded by ventricular tachycardia (fast heart rhythm).
