Product Introduction-Basic Concept What is Regeneration Unit ? Regeneration Unit , or The Energy Feedback Unit , the full name for “special energy feedback unit of frequency converter ”, is a kind of special inverter braking unit, is mainly used for large inertia frequency speed regulation system, help renewable electricity back to the grid produced in the process of the motor reducing the speed,help system achieve rapid braking . 1. Product Introduction-Basic Concept Classification: 1.Parallel energy feedback refers to feedback device and VVVF used in parallel. 2.Tandem energy feedback refers to feedback device and VVVF used in tandem, usually say "active front end rectifier and inverter"AFE(Active Front End) 1. Applications of product - Typical applications Energy feedback unit used in high inertia loads such as: fan, cement pipe, balancing machines, centrifuges grinder, etc. Energy feedback unit for applications requiring quick stop occasions, such as rolling mills, large planer, machine tools, presses, etc. 3.Applications of product - Other applications Regeneration unit as inverter device for wind power, the electricity coming from wind power generator can be sent back to the utility grid by means of regeneration unit . Regeneration unit used in photovoltaic power generation, the electricity coming from photovoltaic panels can be sent back to the utility grid by means of regeneration unit . Energy feedback unit used in UPS power supply, EPS power supply, AFE units used in applications where a stable DC voltage is needed, energy feedback unit is used as a power inverter for local load electricity generation. 3.Applications of product – applications in spot Regeneration unit RU630 was used in the Construction Machinery Company In Guangxi. Applications of product - Operating Mode Wiring a CH1: Inverter input current waveform when RU600 is not used CH3: AFE input current waveform • • • • Automatic switching of the rectifier / feedback operation mode based on the bus voltage change, the current flow in both directions, the bus voltage is held constant, the power factor is close to 1. And can be limited to a single direction rectifier mode, provided for electrical constraints for irreversible system, such as diesel generators. 3. It is different with the inverter, RU600 require real-time monitoring of the grid voltage.If it shows “LP”,after power on ,firstly check the grid voltage detection line wiring is properly connected to the grid. Tip2. When using an external inductor,grid detection wire needs to be connected to the grid side. Tip3. Energy feedback unit and inverter applications in parallel mode, need to use Commonmode Choke in series with the bus, or will cause circulation, affecting the normal use. Tip4. Power normal, keyboard display properly on RU600, but the bus voltage and bus voltage of the inverter are inconsistent, to confirm the internal fuse is damaged or not. Tip5. It is different from the inverter, losing uncontrolled rectifier bridge , increasing the grid voltage detection circuit, so we can handle the rest of the abnormal as the inverter. Figures Thanks!
