Conjunctions
• A coordinating conjunction is a word used to connect
compound parts of a sentence. And, but, or, nor, and for
are coordinating conjunctions. So and yet are also
sometimes used as coordinating conjunctions.

• Correlative conjunctions are pairs of words used to
connect compound parts of a sentence. Correlative
conjunctions include both…and, either…or, neither…nor,
and not only…but also.
