TREE INSPECTOR & TREE INVENTORY

Qualifications:
 A valid DL, with CDL certification is required.
 Clean driving record*
 Minnesota Dept. of Ag-A&E Pesticide Applicators License or obtain prior to hire.
 19 years of age or older
 Drug Screen Required
 Must have own vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)
 2-year technical degree, or progressing toward a B.S. in natural resources or related
field.
 At least one year of higher education in Forestry or a related field such as Biology,
Pathology, or Ecology
 A working knowledge of dendrology and some forest pathology is preferred but not
required, -training can be provided.
 MN Certified Tree Inspector(CTI) required or can obtain before employment
 The individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office software, have sufficient skills in
computers to perform data entry and create reports, and preferably have a familiarity
with ArcView and GPS.
 This person must be dependable, flexible, and willing to work both independently and
in a team environment.
