Cancer treatment involves more than you think. There are approximately 10,000 children living with cancer in Canada. Some of these children develop learning difficulties as a result of treatment. Speechlanguage pathologists work with rehabilitation teams to help patients maintain or improve their ability to learn, communicate, and lead productive lives.
