High-Performance Router for
the Network Edge
The Larscom eRouter-200 is a full-featured,
cost-effective T1 broadband access router
that combines a CSU/DSU, IP router for data
transport, DHCP server for address management, and a firewall for LAN security in a single, compact unit. It simplifies business
communication, saves on capital and operational expenses, and delivers the industry’s
best price/performance solution for small and
medium businesses (SMB) and branch offices.
The eRouter-200 allows full or fractional T1
access, supporting up to 24 DS0s. AutoCAP™ functionality allows service providers
flexible local and remote management
options include SNMP, Telnet, a web-based
interface, and a console port.
The eRouter-200 simplifies Internet access
with Port Address Translation (PAT), Network
Address Translation (NAT) (up to 5000 sessions), IP routing over Frame Relay, Point-toPoint Protocol (PPP), and High-Speed Data
Link Control (HDLC).
By consolidating essential network edge
functions in an intelligent design, it provides
industry-leading performance.
