Solution Description
This service provides a functional, pre-defined basic implementation of an
EMC VNX storage array. The basic implementation provides VNX
implementation for up to two disk array enclosures (DAEs) containing 50
drives total, configuration on one network interface, one file system and
one NFS, CIFS share or iSCSI LUN using Unified installation tools.

Unpacks, racks and stacks components and completes registration for
the VNX system
Cables the VNX system using customer provided network and fibre
channel cables
Enables a RAID storage configuration for the first five supported
drives on a single DAE
Assigns one IP address to the VNX for Management
Configures one file system, and one NFS export, CIFS share or iSCSI
LUN using Unified installation tools
Implement configuration for two FC or Ethernet switches
VNX Block Configuration
} Create up to four storage groups and assigned LUNS
} One VSAN maximum for Cisco MDS series departmental switches
} Validates fibre connectivity to storage and IP connectivity to hosts
VNX File Configuration
} Configures up to two network interfaces on one Data Mover
} Implement up to two CIFS servers or SFS(s) validation within a
single Windows domain
Enables quotas for up to six file systems
Implements the File Systems Full Notification through Unishpere
Validates VNX implementation with Customer
Completes documentation and hands off to customer
Coordinate project closeout, review and sign off

Technologent’ ability to deliver this service is dependent upon the Customer’s
timely cooperation with Technologent PS project team.
The service is delivered as a single, contiguous event and is limited to onsite
delivery at a single customer location. The service is delivered during standard
business hours.
Technologent is not responsible for delays caused by software bugs, existing
hardware and/or software issues or other environmental factors that may
cause delays in delivery. These types of delays may result in a change order
being required
