Job Description
What will you do? Our @home associates make reservation sales for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, both domestic
and international, by providing excellent service that exceeds guest expectations. In this role, you will speak to
travel agents, our loyalty program members, hotels and the general public in the continental US and Canada. You
will confirm, modify and/or cancel reservations and provide information regarding our properties with a focus on
reservation sales through providing positive customer service. There is no telemarketing. Our guests call you for
business or leisure wishing to stay at our properties.

will be used only for Starwood along with a dedicated phone line. The dedicated phone line must be a 508/774
basic landline. No special services such as voicemail, call waiting, call forwarding or long distance are required.

preferred.
Must be able to complete and maintain all vendor credentialing requirements for entry into hospital environments

The incumbent shall, at a minimum, be a graduate of a master’s level program in speech-language pathology
which is either accredited by the Educational Standards Board or whose course work and practice meet ASHA
certification requirements. The Incumbent shall possess current Certificate of Clinical Competence from the
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or be CCC eligible and hold current state license as applicable.
Education/experience in working with an adult and geriatric population is necessary, preferably in a skilled
nursing setting; education/experience with a disabled population is desirable.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1. Participate in continuing education/professional development activities.
2. Communicate and demonstrate a professional image/attitude for patients, families, clients, coworkers and
others.
3. Adhere to policies and practices of applicable professional organizations, facility and Team/Moore.
4. Assist with the development of student programs as requested.
Contribute to client relations and marketing activities.
5. Maintain licenses/certifications and memberships in applicable professional organizations.
6. Complete screening on all patients within 24 hours following admission.
7. Conduct initial assessments.
8. Contribute to interdisciplinary care plans.
9. Complete appropriate sections of resident assessment instrument (RAI).
10. Provide age appropriate therapeutic interventions.
11. Evaluate patient response to treatment and provide feedback to the rest of the team.
12. Document the course of patient care including progress made and continuing need for treatment.
13. Provide patient and family education on tasks and resources that will assist with continued functional
independence.
14. Coordinate treatment with other disciplines.
15. Participate in rehab meetings.
16. Function as a resource for and provide team members with inservice/cross-training on speech-language
pathology
17. Contribute to development of improved efficiency and productivity of facilityclinical/administrative
functions.
18. Participate in facility quality management activities.
19. Collect quality review data.
20. Participate in survey preparation activities.
21. Interact with assigned program consultant.
22. Participate in all facility committee activities as requested.
23. Contribute to the delivery of cost effective care.
