Italy, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Greece, USA, Japan, Brazil and Australia. 2005 saw their

The Quartet performed with several Czech orchestras (Czech Radio Symphony Orchestra,
Suk Chamber Orchestra...) and co-operated with well-known soloists such as cellist Michael
Kaňka, clarinetists Ludmila Peterková, Dimitri Ashkenazy and Milan Řeřicha, pianist Jean
Muller. In 2009, the Ensemble have had concerts with two outstanding Czech musicians:

The Ensemble has recorded two CD's with the last quartets of the Czech Masters (Smetana,
Dvořák and Janáček) and with the three famous quartets of Mozart. Another CD with three
works of a young gifted Czech composer Václav Zahradník was recorded in 2009. Members
of the Quartet have also recorded for Czech Radio, ABC Classic FM Sydney, Hessischer
Rundfunk and for Supraphon.
The Herold Quartet works regularly with Professor Břetislav Novotný, first violinist of the
