Stocktonmaintainsabusyscheduleofperforming, recording,andteachingaroundNorthAmerica.Heis afrequentguestartistatcollegesandhighschools duetohisheftyresumeofpastperformances.In recentyears,Stocktonhasbeenheardacrossthe UnitedStatesplayingdrumsforAmericanmusicicon andtrumpetplayerextraordinaireDocSeverinsen. Stocktonhasreleasedsixalbumstodate:Lodestar (2005),ForNothingisSecret(2007),Battlestations&EscapePlans(2010),Crazy Aquarius(2012),Handprints(2014),and,hismostrecentPatina(2015).Eachalbum showcasesnotonlyStockton'sdrummingabilities,buthiscomposing,arranging, andproducingskillsaswell.Stocktonalsoreleasedhisfirsteducationaltextin2015, BigBandDrumSetRightReadingEtudesVolume1,whichhelpsdrummerslearn howtoimproviseandsucceedinabigbandsetting. Stocktonhasperformedandrecordedwithawiderangeofartistsincluding MaynardFerguson,theManiacal4,ErikaBadu,DavidBraid,SteveWiest,Jennifer Holiday,TheDallasSymphonyOrchestra,DenisDiBlasio,TheCincinnatiPops,Chip McNeill,DardenPurcell,ClayJenkins,PhilWoods,WayneBergeron,RandyBrecker, TheImperialBrass,MaryWilson,PaulTynan,ErnieWattsandmanymore. Since2007,StocktonhasownedandoperatedArmoredRecords,anindependent JazzrecordlabelthatfocusesonreleasesbyupandcomingJazzartists.Todate, ArmoredRecordsasreleasedoverfiftyalbumsfromartistscoasttocoast. StocktonlivesinDallas,TX,withhiswifeDenise,Johntheirson,Jackthedog,and Aquariustheturtle.
