JOSHUA BELL ‘O MIO BABBINO CARO’
Joshua Bell is an American Grammy Award winning violinist who, for more than two
decades has captivated audiences worldwide with his bold and charismatic artistry.
Bringing a fresh voice to well-known classical masterpieces, Bell performs an arrangement
by Leon Craig of Puccini’s ‘O Mio Babbino Caro’ from his album, ‘Romance of the Violin’.
IL DIVO – ‘REGRESA A MI (UNBREAK MY HEART)’
The collective talent of four exceptional male singers, Il Divo are an international opera
quartet created by British pop impresario Simon Cowell. Formed following a two year
worldwide search, Il Divo’s self-titled debut album is a skilfully fused combination of pop
and classical music, which includes an arrangement of Toni Braxton's 'Unbreak My Heart'.
STAR WARS - EPISODE I: THE PHANTOM MENACE – ‘DUEL OF FATES’
Star Wars – Episode I is the first of three films in the prequel to George Lucas’
phenomenally successful 80s trilogy and one of the most eagerly anticipated films of 1999.
British film composer John Williams, who wrote the soundtrack to the first three films,
returns once again to navigate the exotic landscapes of Lucus’ imagination.

DOMINIC MILLER ‘ADAGIO FOR STRINGS IN G MINOR’
Dominic Miller is an Argentine-English guitarist born in Buenos Aires. He has toured with
King Swamp, recorded with Phil Collins and appeared on every recording by Sting since
1990. More recently Miller released a solo album of classical music called Shapes, which
features an arrangement of Tomaso Albinoni’s ‘Adagio in G Minor’ on classical guitar.
ROB DOUGAN – ‘FURIOUS ANGELS’
Australian DJ and composer Rob Dougan is known primarily for his breakthrough single
‘Clubbed to Death’, which was popularized by The Matrix soundtrack and later in the
theatrical trailers for ‘Blade: Trinity’ and ‘UltraViolet’. His debut album ‘Furious Angels’
blends lavish orchestration, trip hop beats and rasping vocals to achieve an epic body of
contemporary chillout music.
C MUSIC TV CLOSE UP – CRAIG ARMSTRONG ‘MEMORY TAKES MY HAND’
Craig Armstrong is a Scottish musician and composer best known for his film work. He
received international recognition for his contribution to Baz Luhrmann’s ‘Romeo and
Juliet’ in …, and has subsequently written scores for 'Ray', 'Moulin Rouge' and 'Love
Actually'.
“Memory Takes My Hand” explores Armstrong’s new body work of the same name, which
was commissioned by the Glasgow City Council. A collaboration with playwright Peter
Arnott, ‘Memory Takes My Hand’ is a three part composition which reflects Craig's musical
influences and interest in contemporary electronic music.
