certified estheticians and makeup artists offering their expertise to construct skincare regimens unique to a
patient’s individual needs.
AD and skinfo are promoted to patients through social media channels and internal and external marketing
initiatives. One of the strongest promotional efforts has been Dr. Taub’s newsletter, which has evolved into a
print piece and an e-newsletter promoting and educating on the latest dermatology and skincare advancements.
Content is shared throughout social media channels as blog posts and messages, incorporating images, videos,
and quotes. Both businesses also utilize contests and engagement postings on social media channels to increase
patient involvement, acquire new likes and followers. Understanding the balance of entertainment, education and
promotion as well as the culture and demographic of different social media channels has given AD and skinfo the
respect and attention of its patients and fans.
