We offer Mohs micrographic surgery
which has the highest cure rate for basal
and squamous cell skin cancers. This
highly technical and specialized technique
is performed by an experienced board
certified Mohs surgeon. It removes the least
amount of normal tissue necessary thereby
leaving the smallest scar possible. Anxiety
is minimized because biopsy results are
obtained at the time of surgery, confirming
the complete removal of the cancer so the
patient can go about their lives. Mohs is
the treatment of choice for cases involving
high risk areas, such as the face, nose or
eyes and for large, difficult, poorly defined
or recurrent skin cancers.
