About the Department
T M Lewin’s Online Marketing team is currently driving growth for the company and it is a key focus
of our strategy for the next number of years. The team boasts data analysts, marketers and
business/economics/maths graduates who have one thing in common: they are all passionate about
marketing and let the data do the talking. Team members are split between a number of verticals;
Paid Marketing; Owned Marketing; Marketing Insights and Marketing Optimisation.
About the role
This is a fast-paced and strategic position covering all aspects of owned marketing within the online
marketing team. Reporting into the Senior Online Marketing Manager, this role will manage three
Owned Media Marketing executives.
Key Responsibilities
Management

Lead, grow and develop the online owned marketing team and strategy within the Online
Marketing team.
o This will include hiring, training and managing a growing team while ensuring that all
relevant skills are adequately resourced against.
Owned Marketing
The owned media team in T M Lewin is responsible for creating and executing campaigns across all
owned channels, including website, email, organic social and SMS. Specifically the Online Owned
Marketing Manager will focus on a number of key areas:

Campaign Planning – Developing, managing and executing owned media communications
plans across multiple online channels and business units in co-operation with relevant
internal channels
Relationship Management - Managing the relationships between all key stakeholders,
including, commercial, product and finance managers.
Design Process - Be able to give direction to the team on the creative process; from creating
briefs to work on copy and creative with either in-house designers or external agencies.
Testing Culture – Implement a rigourous testing culture to identity cause and effect in
owned media marketing activities.
Skills, knowledge and experience required

3 years online marketing background gained from the client and/or online agency side with
demonstrable experience and achievement across performance remarketing or eCommerce
insights. Strong all round knowledge of the online marketing landscape
1 year management experience. An ability to motivate and develop ambitious and talented
people whilst at the same time being open to feedback and evaluation
A focus on driving results – with the constant definition of success being delivery to the
business bottom line.
Planning and Time management skills - Set goals and targets for yourself and direct reports.
Scope out work and set detailed delivery plans for the team.
Excellent communication skills - an innate ability to build the strong relationships that will be
critical to success
Organisational Agility - Ability to make connections between people and point my team in
the right direction to get the access they need. Understanding of formal and information
networks within companies.

A capacity for analytical thinking. Candidates should be data driven and analytical, creating
and managing through an environment of performance indicators and analysis
Strategic Agility - The ability to identify a clear vision is a must. However, candidates must
also be about to mapping out a long-term plan while showing how short term activities can
deliver on long-term objectives.
Continuous Improvement - Encourage team to constantly think about their processes,
driving improvements to deliver a more effective and efficient team.
