Marketing Manager Job Description Krimson Klover (KK) is seeking a highly creative, self-motivated, Marketing Manager who is an outdoor enthusiast and fashionista. The key role is working with the Marketing Director in every phase of new and existing marketing initiatives including brand communications, promotions and general marketing program management. WHAT MATTERS: That you are a team player, extremely creative, passionate, intrinsically motivated and self managed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Overall Brand Management Consistency is key! The KK brand is established but it needs to have more structure and consistency so that consumers and dealers alike instantly recognize something as KK. You will work closely with the Marketing Director to establish these guidelines and standards! Collateral Development Coordinate the development of seasonal collateral and brand communications materials. including but not limited to: • Catalogs, price sheets and image library • Collection mailings • Tradeshow graphics and signage • Hang tags, labels, packaging info • Sales meeting materials • In-house business and discount cards Maintain an organized and easy-to-navigate library of all internal and external marketing assets. Responsible for project management, budget management and tracking and delivery of all items. Strategic Annual Calendar Development Outdoor Retailer, SIA, Stitch, media trips, social media promotions, online product launches, photo shoots, catalog production, PR events, blogs, email marketing, sponsored events, regional rep shows, just to name a few. Create a plan to manage all the details/content/communications surrounding the aforementioned. Digital Marketing Management Create strategic content calendar for social media, blogs and email marketing that targets consumers, dealers and sales reps. This should be built around major collection releases, trade shows, holidays, events, etc. Social Media Management • Create and manage on-brand content for social media communities • Staying on the edge of what is happening in this every-changing digital world • Tell a consistent and compelling story on our social network • Successfully grow the fan base and interaction of each platform • Produce campaigns/promotions to build brand awareness and consumer email database • Maximize the ecommerce opportunities on all channels • Utilize stats to analyze what is working and refine Blog Creation • Writing ever-green and timely, relevant short articles (that include gorgeous photography) that are posted on our website and pushed via other digital marketing platforms. • Incorporate keywords to support SEO efforts • Goal is to post 2+ per month. Email Marketing • Using Constant Contact and brand standards to create email campaigns to consumers, dealer, and sales reps. • Compelling language and visual graphics • Goal is 2-4 consumer, 1 dealer and 1 rep email per month • Utilize reporting and stats to analyze and refine Website Management Support • The website is managed in-house. Your role will be to support this function with any graphic needs and work with analytics team to continually improve the look and function of the site. Brand Ambassador Program Management: We currently have a group of women that are ambassadors but it honestly isn’t doing much. The program needs a serious face-lift. We’ve got ideas, we want your ideas and then you will maintain, manage and grow the program – evaluating ROI and effectiveness, evolving, repeat. Photo Shoot Support Work with Marketing Director in production of product and lifestyle photo shoots, conceptualize shot lists, location selection, model selection/contracts, coordinate sample delivery, track and manage color corrections. Ensure timely delivery of assets. Public Relations Support Work closely with our PR agency to help execute media communications, mailings, events, strategic partnerships and more. This includes participating in weekly calls and daily support. SEO Agency Support Work with Marketing Director and SEO agency by creating graphics for digital advertising and other assignments as needed. Sales Support Support in-house sales rep manager with materials, graphics, collateral, etc. Competitive and Trend Analysis Build and maintain a competitive library to help identify new opportunities in the market, based on consumer and customer trends, competitive changes, and corporate marketing plans. Conduct market research and provide competitive reviews and analyses with the help of Marketing Director and Owner. Monitor product and sales performance, evaluate market and consumer trends, and make recommendations for improvement. EXPERIENCE 5+ years’ experience in related marketing position Experience in a small to mid-sized apparel company that is growing and expanding is a plus. We are fast-paced and the target is continually moving. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and / or communications. Strong creative skills combined with outstanding attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Extremely organized Willingness to travel 5+ times a year, work weekends and evenings occasionally Technical Skills: Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign), Constant Contact, WordPress, good working knowledge of Google Drive, Quickbooks Online a plus,
