About the Job
Seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic/Assembler to join our assembly team at Diedrich Drill, a privately owned OEM of
geo-technical and environmental auger drilling rigs and tooling.
Essential Job Requirements and Duties Include:
* Primary job function will be to assemble Auger Drilling Machines and accessories.
* Knowledge of and previous work experience with hydraulics, 12 and 24 volt electrical systems, diesel and gas engines
* Perform job duties in a safe and efficient manner in order to protect yourself, other employees and company property.
* Observes operation of machinery and equipment to verify assembly.
* Performs routine service/maintenance such as changing filters, hoses, gear box repairs, etc.
* Set up and operate pneumatic, hand, electric, and hydraulic tools to perform assembly.
* Cleans tools and work area.
* Able to read hydraulic and electrical schematics
* A safety-oriented work ethic
* The ability to follow instructions, rules and regulations
* Written and verbal communications skills
* Ability to work as a valuable member of a team
*Problem solving and computer skills
* Must possess own tools
* Must be able to read, write, and speak English
* Must be able to pass drug test and background check
* Operates equipment such as overhead or mobile cranes and forklifts to assist in assignments
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Education
* High School Diploma minimum.
* Desired supplemented additional post-secondary training in a heavy-duty mechanic/technician program or technical
training in an mechanic/technician program or equivalent work-related experience ( 3- 4 years )
