ELIZABETH CITY MAN CHARGED WITH DRUG OFFENSES
On December 2, 2014, Members of the Dare County Narcotics Task Force were conducting an
undercover operation in Kill Devil Hills. As a result of that investigation, a vehicle stop was initiated.
Subsequent to that stop, an arrest was made for the below offenses.
Suspect:
TOXEY, Maurice Dwight, 30, 1319 Lincoln Street, Elizabeth City, NC
Charges:
Possession with the Intent to Sell or Deliver Cocaine
Alter/Steal/Destroy Criminal Evidence
Committed to the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $20,000 bond
MARIJUANA GROW FOUND IN KITTY HAWK
On December 8, 2014, as a result of the service of a search warrant, members of the Dare County
Narcotics Task Force discovered a Marijuana Growing operation at a Kitty Hawk home.
Pursuant to that discovery and as a result of the investigation, officers were able to arrest and charge an
individual as indicated below.
Suspect:
PENDRY, Christopher Wayne, 41, 4304 Linbergh Ave, Kitty Hawk
Charges:
Possession with the Intent to Sell and Delver Marijuana
Manufacturing Marijuana
Maintain a Dwelling/Place/Vehicle to Keep Controlled Substances
Felony Possession of Marijuana
Released on $2,000 Bond
TASK FORCE MAKES HEROIN ARRESTS ON ROANOKE ISLAND
On December 11, 2014, Officers from the Dare County Narcotics Task Force arrested two persons for
Heroin charges after an investigation led officers to their residence, where a quantity of Heroin was
discovered. Additionally, one of the suspects had an outstanding warrant for a Heroin charge. The
arrest information is found below.
Suspect #1:
FOSTER, Wesley Taylor, 26, 413 64 264 HWY S, Manteo
Charges:
Possession with the Intent to Sell or Deliver Heroin
Possession with the Intent to Sell or Deliver Heroin (warrant)
Committed to the Dare County Detention Center in lieu of $20,000 Bond
Suspect #2:
BERGE, Ashley Lee, 23, 413 64 264 HWY S, Manteo
Charge:
Possession of Heroin
