Ibuprofen and Cyclobenzaprine
Medication:
This medication contains ibuprofen and cyclobenzaprine.
Uses:
Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug used for arthritis, mild-to-moderate
pain, fever, and other medical conditions. Cyclobenzaprine is a skeletal muscle relaxant
used to treat muscle spasms and other acute muscle conditions.
Directions:
Take as directed by physician. If stomach upset occurs, take with food.
Side Effects:
This medication can cause drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, dry mouth, stomach
upset, rash, and rarely GI bleeding.
Precautions:
Use caution while driving or performing other tasks requiring alertness, coordination or
physical dexterity. Avoid use of alcohol, aspirin, or MAO-I. Stop therapy and contact
your physician if nausea, fatigue, lethargy, itching or flu-like symptoms appear.
Missed Dose:
Take missed dose as soon as possible. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the
missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Do not “double up” on dose or take extra
doses.
Storage:
Store at room temperature.
