The majority of seating components we manufacture require MIG welding. To meet
the ever increasing quality demands from customers like Ford, GM, Honda, Nissan,
Mitsubishi, and Toyota, Toyo Seat needs robotic cell operators who are skilled in
welding, both theory and hands on.
Additionally, we have and need support personnel in tool and die, fabrication, PM,
and robotics programming that must have a working knowledge of welding. The
various skills required are TIG, MIG, stick, oxyacetylene and plasma cutting.
At Toyo Seat, we are interested in Kentucky Welding Institute graduates who are
NCCER trained and certified through the American Welding Society. In addition, the
CPR/first-aid training and OSHA certification that KWI graduates will receive are a
great asset to their employability as are the institutes attendance standards and
zero tolerance drug policy.
This letter is to serve as support for your institution from business and industry and
we look forward to the future of what Kentucky Welding Institute has to offer.
Sincerely,
Kevin Dales
