ARC WELDING MACHINE RH-400 OF DIRECT CURRENT OR
DC CURRENT FOR MEDIUM SIZE JOBS.
Ideal for contractors, metal manufacturing shops, shipyards and mines
that require high duty cycle, for medium size jobs.
The RH-400 is adequate for welding with all types of coated electrodes
up to 1/4” diameter in E-6011 and up to 3/16” diameter in 7018.
Key features:
Provides DC current through a three-phase diode bridge, so it can be
used with all types of electrodes up to 1/4” and up to 3/16” and
weld all types of materials.
- The arc produced by this welding machine is soft and stable in both
high range and low range, making very easy to control it, regardless
the type of electrode used.
- The control AC voltage is rectified and regulated by a
potentiometer, and applied to the primary coils of a saturable core
reactor varying its saturation and changing its reactance and
consequently the welding current.
- The transformer core is constructed welding stacked laminations of
silicon steel , previously punched with high precision, obtaining so a
vibration-free operation. The coils forming the transformer are made
of electrolytic copper wire with insulation class 155 °C, either
enameled or dipped in epoxy resin, and cured in an oven after a final
dipping in epoxy varnish is given to core and coils, to provide them
protection against the harsh enviroment.

After the metal enclosure is properly treated to resist corrosion, fine
baked paint is applied.
Its removable cover allows easy access into the machine for efficient
maintenance.
All control elements are located on the front panel, for easy and
convenient access and for protection against accidental hits.
