Summary
Indications and Usage: For wound debridement and promotion of normal healing of hyperkeratotic
surface lesions, particulary where healing is slowed by local infection, necrotic tissue, fibrinous or
purulent debris, or eschar. Can also be useful for the treatment of hyperkeratotic conditions such as
rough, dry skin, dermatitis, psoriasis, xerosis, ichthyosis, eczema, keratosis, keratoderma, corns,
calluses, as well as damaged, ingrown, and devitalized nails.
Dosage Forms: Cream, 40%
Recommended Dosage: Apply to affected area(s) twice daily; smooth over affected tissue until cream
is absorbed. May be covered with adhesive bandage or gauze
Common Adverse Drug Reactions: Transient stinging, burning, itching, local irritation.
Contraindications: Known hypersensitivity to any listed ingredients in the formulation
