Sales Department Internships
The Advertising Sales Department of WGAL has internship opportunities available for
academic credit to qualified college junior, senior and graduate students. Internships
are offered during the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters. Time frames for these
internships are based on the parameters of the individual universities. All internships
are un-paid.
WGAL Sales department interns are supervised by the Research Director. Activities
include researching market data, designing and updating sales materials, participation
in training webinars and possible shadowing of Account Executives. Internships are
open to students who are interested in marketing, sales, research or the business side
of broadcasting.
Students may apply for Advertising Sales internships by sending a cover letter with the
