Handling solutions for loading and
unloading laser cutting machines
The VACUMASTER LASER permits rational
loading of laser cutting machines and the
rapid and ergonomical removal of the cut
workpieces.
Your application:
y Loading laser cutting machines with
metal sheets
y Removing the cut-out parts and the
waste material
y Suitable for metal sheets of all sizes –
from small to large
y Simple operation by a single
person
y For loads of up to
350 kg
1
Your advantages:
y Ergonomical removal of the cut-out
parts
y Increased effective machine operating
times
y Reduced personnel costs
y Careful and safe transport of the parts
The highlights:
y Flexible handling of thin or structured
sheets, even those made of nonmagnetic materials

Loading the machine (1)
y Sheets of steel, stainless steel or aluminium, of all sizes, are picked up and
transferred safely to the table of the laser
cutting machine.
y Additional suction plates
on the sides permit the
handling of thin metal sheets
of all sizes.
3
Removing the cut-out
parts (2+3)
y The parts cut from small
sheets can be removed in a
single operation. For large
sheets, two operations are
necessary.
y The arrangement of the
cut-out parts is irrelevant: all parts are
picked up as a single layer.
y The waste material can also be removed
with the VACUMASTER LASER without the
need for conversion.
y The smallest area free of holes in the
waste material must be at least
30 x 30 mm.
Stacking (4)
An additional advantage:
The workpieces can be machined further
outside the laser cutting machine while
the machine is cutting the next sheet.
Accessories and options:
– Chain hoists and cranes with suitable lifting capacities
– Special versions for mains voltages of 230 V and 460 V
– Spiral cable for supplying the chain hoist with power
– Holder for the control unit of the chain hoist or crane, mounted
in an easily accessible position on the handle of the
VACU MASTER LASER
– Multi-pin plug for power connection (permits the chain hoist
to be used without the lifting device)
– Additional suction pads for large formats to prevent peeling off
Vacuum with safety:
y Vacuum reservoir and
safety non-return valves
y Audible warning in the
case of a power failure
y Optical warning for secure
gripping of the workpieces
y Manometer
y Protection against incorrect
operation
y All devices comply with CE,
UVV, ISO 9001 & 14001
y Complete after-sales service
Time savings per metal sheet:
Manual

5 minutes
n at least
50 % saving
– The time for removal
of cut parts is reduced
by about 50 – 70%,
depending on their
shape and size.
– On systems without a
double table, the set-up
time is reduced by about
20 minutes to 1.5 hours
per shift and the effective
operating time is
increased by about 10%.
– The set-up time savings
on a system with a
double table are about
the same, but the
effective operating time
remains unchanged.
In the time saved in this
manner, the operator
can carry out peripheral
tasks.
