TREE SALE ORDER FORM
Potted Tree/Shrub Seedlings (Conifers)
Height Width Growth
White Pine, Pinus strobus (8"-10"): Evergreen used in windbreaks or
visual screens. Soft-looking long needles. Native.
Norway Spruce, Picea abies (8"-10"): Dense, dark, short needles.
Branches droop gracefully as tree matures.
White Spruce, Picea glauca (6"-8"): Stiff, light bluish-green needles.
Hardy. Can endure heat and drought better than others.
Blue Spruce, Picea pungens (6"-8"): Stiff, silvery-blue to green needles.
Emerald Green Pyramidal Arborvitae, Thuja occidentalis 'Emerald
Green' (3"-6"): Pyramidal compact growth. Good barrier.
Potted Tree/Shrub Seedlings (Deciduous)
Red Oak, Quercus rubra (6"-8"): Fast growing, long lived, statuesque
shade tree. Drought tolerant. Excellent fall color.
Swamp White Oak, Quercus bicolor (6"-8"): Does well in wet, swampy
conditions along rivers and streams and in wetlands
Redbud, Cercis canadensis (6"-8"): Rosy-pink flowers appear in April.
Reddish-purple, heart-shaped leaves change to dark green then yellow.
Silver Maple, Acer saccharinum (15"-18"): Often called "hard maple."
Best tree for quick shade. Commonly found on streambanks.
