Born: Sunday, June 24, 1928
Died: Wednesday, October 9, 2013
CENTRACCHIO, John A., 85, formerly of West Warwick,
passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at the Coventry
Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his
loving family. He was the beloved husband of 64 years to
Jennie L. (Caianiello) Centracchio.
Born in West Warwick, he was son of the late Vincenzo and
Rosina (Bosco) Centracchio.

An Army veteran serving during WWII, John was a Master
Carpenter for many years with Paul Blais Construction and
Vaughn Woodworking before retiring and was a long time
member of the Rhode Island Carpenters Union. He enjoyed
traveling and aviation.
Besides his wife, he leaves his daughters, Marjorie A.
Centracchio and Linda L. Lombardi, both of Coventry; his
grandson, Nicholas J. Lombardi and a sister, Domenica
"Mena" Capwell of Coventry. He was the brother of the late
Reginald Centracchio, Lucy Ventura, Ida Horta, Amelia
Petrarca and Filomena Coletta.
His Funeral Service will be held Saturday morning at 9:00
am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St.
(Rte.117), Coventry. Interment with Military Honors will
follow in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
Visiting hours Friday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to
the American Parkinson Disease Association, RI Chapter, PO
Box 41659, Providence, RI 02940 would be appreciated.
