GLORIOSA LILY
Glory lily or climbing lily is actually a relative of the true lily. This beautiful and flashy red
with yellow flowers has recurring petals and grows on a vine that can reach 6 feet or more.
The end of each lance-shaped leaf tapers to a tendril, which wraps around any handy support
as it climbs. This lily is best grown in pots.
LOCATION:
Filtered sun or light shade
PLANT:
Tubers should be planted in a horizontal position, one to a pot, 4” deep, in well drained soil.
These can be started indoors and set out after all danger of frost has past.
FLOWERING TIME:
Summer
AFTER CARE:
Withhold water and fertilizer in late September when foliage yellows. After leaves dry, cut
stems back and store in a container in a 55-60 degree dry location for the winter, or dig
tubers and store like dahlias.
