Office Therapy® Pro – Professional Edition Software
DocuTrac has added a new product line of Professional Edition software with the release of
QuicDoc Version 9 and Office Therapy Version 9. These programs use Microsoft® SQL Server
for the backend database. The original Standard Edition software programs use Microsoft Access
for their backend database. Version 9 software is being marketed as QuicDoc Pro and Office
Therapy Pro - Professional Edition Software.
The line of Professional software provides DocuTrac’s customers with more efficiency and
reliability in a multi-user environment. Programming the software for a Microsoft SQL Server
backend database was a challenging task that demanded extensive development resources. Many
customers who upgraded to Version 9 have already benefited from a more efficient system able
to run on a wide area network, and one that is better able to scale upwards for growing
businesses.
DocuTrac will continue to update and maintain their original Standard versions of QuicDoc and
Office Therapy since some customers, who are solo and small group providers, may not
immediately realize the same benefits from installing Version 9 as customers in a multi-user
environment. With the addition of Version 9 Pro Software DocuTrac customers will be able to
choose the version that best suits their needs, whether an individual in a small private practice or
part of a larger growing group of providers in a multi-user environment.
